Why this part
exists.

The URNIETA NorthSea Exhaust for the LC250 is a stainless steel cat-back with electronic valves, offering quiet factory-like cruise, aggressive on-demand sound, and three preset modes—Comfort, Sport, Track—OEM-fit, emissions-compliant, and switchable from the driver’s seat.

The LC250 ships with the quietest exhaust note ever fitted to a Land Cruiser.
That's by design. Toyota engineered the 250's factory exhaust to pass European drive-by noise regulations, North American emissions standards, and Japanese urban sound limits — all in a single tune. The result is a turbo-diesel V6 (or hybrid 2.4) that sounds like a luxury sedan from outside the truck and barely registers from inside it. For a vehicle Toyota markets as the heir to the Land Cruiser name, the silence is conspicuous.
Most aftermarket LC250 exhausts solve the noise problem and create a different one. They open the system up at every RPM — louder at idle, louder at cruise, louder at 110 km/h on the highway. Six months in, the owner's family asks for the OEM exhaust back. The aftermarket unit gets shelved.
We didn't want that.
The URNIETA NorthSea Exhaust System for the LC250 is a stainless-steel cat-back with electronic valve control — quiet at cruise, aggressive on demand, switchable from the driver's seat. The valves are servo-actuated through a wired controller (or optional wireless remote), with three preset modes: Comfort (factory-quiet at all RPMs), Sport (open valves above 3,000 RPM), and Track (fully open across the rev range). The system is engineered around the LC250's V6 turbo-diesel exhaust geometry and certified for compatibility with factory ECU emissions monitoring.
Built specifically for the LC250 — Land Cruiser Prado 250 in global markets, Land Cruiser in North America — across the 2024–2026 production range. Direct-fit, factory hanger compatible, no welding required.
Loud when you want it. Quiet when your family wants it. Legal in every market the truck is sold in.

Three things that matter.

We chose the things to optimize for and the things to leave alone. These three define how the exhaust performs across the modes the LC250 actually gets driven in.
Feature01

ELECTRONIC VALVE CONTROL.

A pair of servo-actuated butterfly valves sit at the rear of the muffler, controlled by a hardwired switch in the cabin or an optional wireless remote. Comfort mode holds the valves closed across the full RPM range — exhaust note matches OEM at idle, cruise, and highway. Sport mode opens the valves above 3,000 RPM, releasing the V6's natural acoustic signature under load while staying quiet at cruise. Track mode holds the valves fully open across the rev range. Three modes, one switch, no compromise between daily driving and weekend driving.
Feature02

STAINLESS THROUGH EVERY SECTION.

Every pipe, flange, and hanger on the system is fabricated from 304 stainless steel — not aluminized steel, not mild steel with stainless tips. The mufflers are double-walled stainless. The flanges are CNC-machined stainless. The exhaust survives salt-air coastal driving, winter road salt, and the chemistry of long-distance off-road conditions without rusting through. The tips are bead-blasted matte stainless — they won't bluing, won't peel, and won't fade.
Feature03

ECU-COMPATIBLE, SENSOR-COMPLETE.

The system retains all OEM oxygen sensor positions, EGT probe locations, and DPF housing geometry — every emissions monitoring point Toyota engineered into the factory exhaust. The ECU reads the URNIETA exhaust the same way it reads OEM. No check engine lights, no limp-mode triggers, no DPF regeneration interference. The exhaust sounds different. The ECU doesn't notice.
