Air Conditioner Vents

The factory air vents on the LC70 are the only part of the cabin that hasn't aged well.

Everything else on the truck has earned its character with time — the steel dash, the bare-metal switches, the manual window cranks on lower-spec variants. The cabin reads as a working tool, exactly the way Toyota engineered it. But the vents — four small black plastic panels in the dashboard — were sourced from the same Toyota parts bin that serves the Hilux, the older 4Runner, and a half-dozen other trucks across the lineup. They're not LC70 specific. They never were. And after fifteen years of UV and dust, they're the part of the dashboard that looks like it came from a different vehicle.
A small detail, but the cabin is made of small details.
The URNIETA Air Vents replace all four factory units with a CNC-machined assembly in brushed metal — finished in either Electroplated Grey or Matte Black — with a solid brass bullet-primer accent at the centre of each vent. The brass is not coated. It picks up patina from skin contact and dashboard heat over time, deepening from polished gold to the warm bronze of a working tool. The vent body is structural metal across every visible surface; the airflow geometry retains the OEM cross-ball swivel — left turn opens, right turn closes — for tactile precision the factory plastic never had.
