The exposed spare tire area becomes a structural tailgate cover and folding outdoor workbench, fitting all Jimny variants and tire sizes up to 235/75 R15.
The OEM spare tire mount is simple, accessible, and practical, but it leaves the tire sidewall exposed to UV, road grime, brush, and impact. On an overland build, the rear-mounted spare also occupies a large visual and physical area without contributing function beyond storage. The Salado Extended Spare Tire Cover redesigns that exposed mount as a structural object. Closed, it protects and visually finishes the spare tire. Open, it becomes a flat work surface for camp cooking, gear sorting, or field repairs. The design locks for transit and adjusts across tire sizes from OEM 195/80 R15 to 235/75 R15 oversized off-road setups, so the same tailgate area becomes protection and utility.
